This contemporary carving is a tweaked variation of a circle of life design. The koru or fern design has traditionally been used to reflect the search for knowledge, spiritual growth and peace. I wanted to shift that form a little and this piece of deer coronet allowed me to do that!  The red deer coronet had some porous areas that I filled with a light caramel coloured epoxy to add some very subtle colour to the natural beauty of this material. 

  Each piece comes in a gift box with an adjustable waxed polyester cord and cards that explains background of the design and material. She measures 76mm x 48mm. Thanks for checking out my work
