This contemporary design combines fish hook, bird and fern forms.  The carving represents strength, spiritual guardianship and growth. The stylized hook is a symbol of strength and prosperity. The Manaia or bird form reflects the flight of the soul through life. There are  2 negative space koru forms that capture the idea of spiritual growth and peace 

   This peice is carved from a stunning peice of Woolly Mammoth Iovry. This ancient material has a very soft feel and will develop a stunning patina as it is worn.  All the designs included an adjustable waxed polyester cord along with cards that explain the meaning of the design and the background of the material. She measures 59mm by 37mm.
