This unique design came about when I wanted to explore the idea of symmetry through asymmetry! I started drawing directly onto the bone to see what developed. There are elements of guardianship and connection blended into the design.

    This modern piece is carved from beef bone and has some very subtle speckling. All the designs included an adjustable waxed polyester cord along with cards that explain the meaning of the design and the background of the material. She measures 85mm by 37mm.
