Earth Spirit:

 This piece of Walrus jaw bone is one of the last that I have. These older materials are always a little nerve racking to carve as the sanding process flexes the material revealing all the imperfections within the bone. This design combines water elements and a stylised hand form to capture the idea of drawing strength from the natural world around us! This stunning material has great colour and will develop an amazing patina. The carving measures 70mm x 38mm.
